Multifunctional Space for a Sports Community
Our project is a new type of space, specifically designed for a community united by a passion for triathlon: running, cycling, and swimming. We aimed to create not just a sports hub, but a fully-fledged ecosystem where functionality, aesthetics, and the ideology of movement come together in harmony. The space includes a sports apparel store and a bike service center, a café-bar focused on healthy eating and atmosphere, an event area, and a modular coworking space available to community members.
The Space Formula: Modularity, Thoughtfulness, Character
The store’s concept is built on the principles of functional minimalism: all furniture consists of a thoughtfully designed set of standard modules, created specifically for this project. Bicycles are suspended from the ceiling on special brackets — not only does this free up space, it transforms the equipment into a kind of art object, elevating cycling to the status of a cultural symbol.
In the service area, bicycle parts are reimagined as elements of art installations. They become an integral part of the interior, merging technical aesthetics with artistic expression. The bar area is a place of connection and conversation. Here, suspended modules similar to those used in the store become lighting elements, creating soft zoning and reinforcing the overall visual unity.
Coworking — A Continuation of the Shared Rhythm
The coworking space for community members is designed in the same modular key: custom-designed furniture combines simplicity, elegance, and high adaptability. Each element is part of a unified system, yet each zone has its own character and atmosphere. Overall, the space is imbued with the idea of balance — with sport, life, and individuality. It is flexible, vibrant, and unifying — just like triathlon itself.
