“Cloud Ceiling”: When Form Breathes
This project is an experiment. A small 21 sq.m. workshop belonging to my friends became a field for rethinking one seemingly fixed architectural element — the ceiling.
The project is called “Cloud Ceiling”. I let go of conventional geometry and allowed the ceiling to break free: it bends, flows, and at certain points dips below the window line, as if it’s about to fly outside. This isn’t just a structure — it’s a form with its own rhythm and character.
It became the dominant feature of the space, yet it doesn’t overwhelm — it draws you in. It’s more of an architectural atmosphere: alive, soft, and unpredictable.
The project was a source of inspiration. For me, for my friends, and for everyone who visited the workshop — even briefly. It wasn’t just a ceiling; it was a reason to look up and realize that limits can also be raw material.
